Tyler John Marsh is a Photographer from South-East England who started his pursuit in photography in 2015 when he realised capturing photos and moments appealed to him. From then on he was very motivated in being a Freelance Photographer.
Tyler's Career slowly grew as he progressed from taking photos on his iPhone 6 Plus in 2015 to his first DSLR Camera (CANON EOS 1200D) distributed by his sixthform (Ursuline College) in 2017 when he decided to take photography as an A-Level for Year 12 - Year 13; despite being declined from doing photography at other colleges (Canterbury) as he had not previously taken any artistic subjects for GCSE.
From this point forward, Tyler decided to start building his Portfolio in books and on Instagram (@trashy_tyler_xoxo), doing portraiture shoots for family, friends and some strangers. In June/July he got a work experience placement for Crate Project & Studio Space in Margate working with them for 7 days, learning lots about the art world and industry and how difficult it is, but also learning some key tips for getting started. During the 7 days he was offered the opportunity to be a photographer for UCA's (University for the Creative Arts) Graduates exhibition and did this a week later.
After this eye opening experience Tyler decided to start his Portfolio site, realising every artist had one. (August 2018)
